AICR Mentoring supported by Lighthouse Development

Author Martina KnitterMentoring Team AICR Switzerland

Mentoring is about development, making the next step or looking into the future possibilities – but sometimes, especially at the end of a sucessfull year it is also good to reflect:

What was going well, what could be improve, on what we can built and what can be seen as – well- an experience and possibility to learn out of it.

Applying this process to our mentoring programm I went back to previous articles and to the beginning in 2021.

If you don´t remember or are a new follower look at our previous article:

AICR International » Acknowledged, agreed, achieved

So i took the oppertunity to follow up with Kevin Daly, who was a great support during the first trainings.

In the formart of 5 minutes or 3 3uestions i asked him:

1. What was your attention during the Training:

My goal was to

  • give AICR members, Leadership Certification alumni & current candidates an opportunity to become AICR certified mentors
  • improve the overall mentoring skills within AICR thereby enhancing the quality of Receptionists & FOMs across the AICR network
  • participants an opportunity to practice live mentoring and receive feedback from peers

2. What Observation can you report off:
All participants applied a growth mindset to the learning and were open to developing mentoring skills

3. What was your Highlight during the Training session?
All participants committed to an action plan going forward on becoming better mentors.
