Wind of change

Now in february we remember the beginning of Covid – nothing to celebrate, but certainly it has effected all of us and changed a lot in our day to day lives. 5 years now!
From home office, hand desinfection, masks, online shopping – some things we keep, out of habbit or because we believe they are making our lives better.
For us – the mentoring Team Switzerland the first Corona log down was the start of setting up the mentoring programm ( you can read the full story here: AICR International » The sleeping beauty). Now five years later it is time for a recap.
We all know the hotel industry is changing quickl: Team members are coming and going, Budget, Forecasts, Occupancy, Targets & goals, sometimes it seems it changes every day. So we took the chance to check on the changes for the mentoring Team Switzerland:
Joscha Kranz:
After working as a Rooms Divison at the Parkhotel Quellenhof Aachen (Germany) for two years, he wa soffered the great oppertunity to move to Cannes, France as the Director of Rooms at the most famous Carlton Cannes .
” I believe in tradtion and innovation, authenticity and passion!” is his credo.
Jakob Koepernick:
In April 2022 he started a new challange with the pre-opening Team at the Manadrine Oriental in Lucerne. And afterwards developed within the Group to Director of Rooms at the Mandarie Oriental in Muscat.
“I am an adament advocat of a “people first” attidued. Living the values of true hospitality as a philosophy rather than just a profession.
Martina Knitter:
Focusing on Training and Devlopment as well as language Teacher has just started her next adventure and is moving to Malaga, Spain this summer. Just as her Credo:
“Life is a journey, take the stones of your life and built a path”.
Martina Miciecki:
is growing her business and is well known for Leadership Coaching. Her Focus on “Nachhaltige Führung” with on – and offline Trainings has made her well known in the german speaking countries.
I will show you how to lead with heart, mind and joy. …With clever self-management and smart team leadership. Then leadership is not only successful, but also fulfilling. The future needs role models who lead courageously and positively.
