Pia Zumkley brings the title of AICR World's Best Receptionist to Germany – after 26 years.
As part of a 4-day event in Baden-Baden, the AICR crowned the winner of this eight month long competition last Saturday. Pia Zumkley prevailed as the winner of the German preliminary round against 29 other national winners. Carmen Barbera from the Burj Al Arab reached second place, with the third place going to Wang Zhen Zhen from the J Hotel Shanghai Tower.

"I would like to thank my family, my partner for their support and the entire team at the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, without whom I would not be here today," said Pia Zumkley after the award ceremony.

"Pia has shown what is possible with diligence and personal commitment," said Arian Roehrle, International President of the AICR. "She is a worthy ambassador for our industry and a role model for young talent in our industry."
