Time to introduce our FINAL JUDGE - Beatrice Gallo...
She was last year's Receptionist of the Year for the UK and went on to win the David Campbell Trophy at the international competition.
"I’m passionate about Receptionist of the Year because I think it’s an excellent opportunity for receptionists to show their talents and a great networking tool for hoteliers to share their experiences in this industry.
I can’t wait to meet this year’s candidates and be part of the Jury who will choose the next UK Best Receptionist that will join us on the journey to Zurich"
As president of the AICR UK I’m thrilled to Judge in this year’s receptionist of the year competition. We are an association built upon friendship and are committed to the personal development of all our semi-finalists and finalists in the discipline of becoming leaders in their field. The art of being the best receptionist is to get into the minds and feelings of what our guests need from us and to separate our own emotions from the situation.
Each one of our competition participants has something special and to this year’s finalists I wish you the greatest success!
Happy Wednesday everybody - we are delighted to introduce Thomas Duxler as one of our judges this year!
My name is Thomas Duxler. I’m originally from Vienna and started my hospitality career at Le Meridien Vienna in 2010. It was during this time that I had my first touch point with AICR as I participated in the Austrian’s Receptionist of the Year finals. I’ve had the pleasure & opportunity to grow from Night Receptionist to a Head of Departments. Over the last 3 years I have been a big supporter of AICR. I’ve just become an AICR mentor and I’m very much looking forward to start this new chapter. I wish all finalist of this year’s Receptionist of the Year Finalists good luck and all the very best for their future paths.
